Labour Compliance The Labour and Skills Department, Kerala on January 23, 2026, issued the Draft amendment to the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The employment in 'Airport Sector' has been excluded from Part-I of the schedule to the said Act.

The Objections or suggestions may be sent within 3 months to the Special Secretary to Government, Labour and Skills (E) Department.
