Industry Specific ComplianceThe International Financial Services Centers Authority (IFSCA) on February 03, 2026, notified regarding the requirement for a Finance Company/ Finance Unit (FC/FU) to have a website/webpage.

The following has been stated:

• IFSCA has mandated that all Finance Companies (FCs) and Finance Units (FUs) providing services to clients other than their group entities must maintain a dedicated website or webpage to enhance transparency and consumer awareness. 

• The website/webpage should display key information, including an overview of the GIFT IFSC ecosystem, the Certificate of Registration with registration number and permitted activities, details of products and services offered, grievance redressal mechanism with officer contact details, and particulars of key managerial personnel in IFSC. 

• This requirement will be effective from April 1, 2026.
