Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on February 05, 2026, notified regarding the Annual Maintenance Charges towards Authorised Persons.

The following has been stated:

• Trading Members were informed that an Annual Maintenance Charge (AMC) applies to all registered APs across segments, as reflected in the Exchange’s records as on March 31 each year. Accordingly, an AMC of ₹5,000 per AP will be levied for all registered APs for the financial year 2026–27, and the charges will be imposed in April 2026. The AMC, once charged, is non-refundable, even if the AP’s registration is cancelled during the year for any reason, including disciplinary action.

• Trading Members are therefore advised to review the status of their APs and cancel registrations of APs that have remained inactive for six months or more before March 31, 2026, to avoid the levy of AMC.
