The Government of Manipur, on January 30, 2026, issued the Ningthoukhong Municipal Council Building Bye-Laws, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Ningthoukhong Municipal Council notified the draft Ningthoukhong Municipal Council Building Bye-Laws, 2025 on 05.12.2025, adopting the Model Manipur Unified Building Bye-Laws, 2024, and published it in the Manipur Gazette (Extra-Ordinary No. 232 dated 15.12.2025) inviting public objections or suggestions within seven days. As no objections or suggestions were received within the stipulated period, the Council, exercising powers under Section 212 of the Manipur Municipalities Act, 1994, has formally published the Bye-Laws as Ningthoukhong Municipal Council Building Bye-Laws, 2025 in the Manipur Gazette (Extra-Ordinary) and issued them as an annexure for general information.
