class="MsoNormal">The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC), on February 05, 2026, issued an older notification no. No.36/2001-Customs (N.T.), dated the 3rd August, 2001, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section-3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S. O. 748 (E), dated the 3rd August, 2001, related to Crude Palm, Gold and Silver.
The following has been stated namely:-
The notification provides that TABLE-1, TABLE-2, and TABLE-3 are substituted with revised tables. In TABLE-1, tariff values (in US$ per metric tonne) are specified for various goods identified by their chapter/heading or tariff item. These include crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, other palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, other palmolein, crude soya bean oil, and brass scrap (all grades). The listed tariff values—such as US$1066 for crude palm oil, US$1075 for RBD palm oil, US$1071 for other palm oil, US$1079 for crude palmolein, US$1082 for RBD palmolein, US$1081 for other palmolein, US$1186 for crude soya bean oil, and US$7284 for brass scrap—are stated as unchanged from the previous notification.
