The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB), on January 30, 2026, notified regarding units falling under the service sector category.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The following directions were issued in respect of units falling under the service sector category, such as hotels, resorts, hospitals, and marriage gardens. institutions, shopping malls. automobile servicing stations, call centres, BPOs, etc., which are directly linked to the convenience of people:
• In case such a unit applies for consent after issuance of closure directions. The Regional Officer/Group In-charge shall not insist on submitting proof of disconnection for the disposal of pending consent applications.
• This facility will be available to such service sector units only, where closure directions have been issued on the grounds of expiry of consent/refusal on documentary grounds.
• In case closure directions are issued to service sector units for non-compliances based on site verification, proof of disconnection shall be taken mandatorily.
