Labour ComplianceThe Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) on February 05, 2026, issued a notification regarding giving an additional charge to Accounts Officers in the absence of a sufficient number of APFCs in the Office.

The following has been stated: -

•Competent authority has permitted RC-I(01C) to assign additional charge of Accounts, Cash, and/or Pension Sections to Accounts Officers under the concerned RO, with prior approval, for a maximum period of 45 days.

•Such assignments must be limited to existing APFC/RPFC-I vacancies, ensuring due consideration of seniority and suitability for sensitive posts.
