Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX), on February 09, 2026, notified regarding the applicability of the Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin.

The following has been stated namely: -

• In accordance with the same, based on the High - Low variation, [(High-Low)/Low x 100], E-ASM of 2.5 percent has been re-triggered and will be applicable on all the running contracts and yet to be launched contracts in Coriander till March 02nd, 2026. 

• The trigger dates and applicability of the E-ASM across selected commodities. Most commodities—Barley, Castor Seed, Guar Seed, and Jeera (including Jeera Mini)—do not have any applicable E-ASM trigger dates, with all entries marked as NA. Coriander is the only commodity with a defined trigger, showing a 5-day movement (10%) trigger on 09-Feb-26, and its E-ASM applicability continues until 02-Mar-26. Guar Gum has an applicability end date of 18-Feb-26, though no specific trigger dates are mentioned. Turmeric also has no trigger dates specified, but its E-ASM applicability is valid until 23-Feb-26.
