The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), on February 04, 2026, issued the date of the establishment of Indian standards particulars relating to Ring Slugging Wrenches.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the dates of establishment shall be January 20, 2026 and shall remain in force till July 19, 2026:-
• IS 4509: 2024 - Ring Slugging Wrenches (Spanners) — Specification (Second Revision) - Amendment No. 1 January 2026.
• IS 11652: 2017 - Textiles — High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)/ Polypropylene (PP) Woven Sacks for Packaging of 50 kg Cement — Specification (Third Revision) - Amendment No. 4 January 2026.
• IS 12171: 2024 - Cotton Bales — Specification (Fourth Revision) - Amendment No. 1 January 2026.
• IS 11877: 2019 - Automotive Vehicles — Maximum Speed of Automotive Vehicles — Method of Evaluation (First Revision) - Amendment No. 1 January 2026.
