The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL), on February 10, 2026, notified regarding the Creation of new lock-in codes.
The following has been stated namely: -
• DPs are hereby informed that, following the new lock-in codes have been created in CDSL system for the purpose of lock-in requirement in respect of the following mutual fund schemes:
• Children Plan Schemes and lock in code- 14
• Retirement Plan Schemes and lock in code- 15
• DPs are advised to take note of the above and ensure that necessary changes are incorporated in their back office, if any.
