Secretarial Compliance The Indian Clearing Corporation Limited (ICCL), on February 11, 2026, issued a notification regarding the mandatory registration of VPA handles under appropriate merchant category codes.

The following has been stated: -

•In continuation of Notice No. 20260203-5 dated February 03, 2026, all MFIs/MFDs/RIAs are advised to ensure that their respective VPA handles are registered under Merchant Category Code (MCC) 6211 or 6012.
