The Tea Board, India, on February 11, 2026, issued a notification regarding Tea Warehouse Licence – Application & Renewal Guidelines.
The following has been stated: -
•Applications for new, renewal, or modification of tea warehouse licences must be submitted online through the Tea Board portal with complete documents and signed Form ‘A’.
•Applicants must review guidelines, upload required ownership/lease and declaration documents, and provide accurate contact details to avoid rejection and fee forfeiture.
•Modification is allowed only for floor area changes, while renewal is processed through an auto-renewal system before licence expiry.
•Warehouses must meet prescribed infrastructure, safety, hygiene, and operational standards as per Annexure specifications.
