The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCI) on February 12, 2026, issued corrigendum in the Protection of Interests in Aircraft Objects Rules, 2026 issued vide notification no. G.S.R. 77(E), dated January 30, 2026, published in Gazette of India Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), dated January 31, 2026.
The following has been stated:
• at page 13, line 38 for “3. Non-consensual rights or interests under the Convention. — (1)” read “3. Non-consensual rights or interests under the Convention. —”.
• at page 16 .-
o in line 10, for “[See rule 2(i)(w)]” read “[See rule 2(1)(i)]”;
