The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on February 11, 2026, issued a notification regarding a revision in the pack size of approved items in DGESIC RC-166.
The following has been stated: -
•An amendment has been issued revising the DGESIC Rate Contract pack size for Metoprolol + Amlodipine + Telmisartan tablets (Brand: MET XL AMT 50/5/40) from 10 tablets to 15 tablets.
•There is no change in the approved price, which remains Rs. 8.10 per tablet (L-1).
•The amendment has been made based on the request of Ajanta Pharma Limited.
•The drug’s composition, strength, and quality standards will remain unchanged and must comply with existing regulatory specifications.
