The Government of Rajasthan, on February 11, 2026, amended an older notification No. F.4(2)FD/tax/2024-65 dated February 08, 2024, related to the Rajasthan Finance Act, 2020.
The following has been stated: -
•In the notification,-
(i)in clause (i), the existing expression "and", appearing at the end, shall be deleted;
(ii)in clause (ii), for the existing punctuation mark ":", appearing at the end, the expression "; and" shall be substituted; and
(iii)after the clause (ii), so amended and before the existing proviso, the following new clause (iii) shall be inserted, namely:- "(iii) land tax payable prior to February 08, 2024 on all classes of lands along with penalty and interest payable thereon, subject to condition that 25% of the original amount of the land tax payable by the land holder is deposited upto September 30, 2026:"
