The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers (MoC&F) on February 13, 2026, issued a notification regarding PMBJP Jan Aushadhi Kendras Performance & Medicine Supply Measures in Jamui (FY 2025–26).
The following has been stated: -
•Under Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana, 11 Jan Aushadhi Kendras operate in Jamui (Bihar), including 1 new Kendra opened in FY 2025–26.
•These Kendras reported ₹1.86 crore sales turnover till December 31, 2025, with no SC/ST One-Time Special Incentive requests received.
•Incentives were introduced for stocking 200 commonly used and fast-selling medicines to improve availability.
•A digitised IT-enabled supply chain with warehouses and monitoring by the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Bureau of India ensures regular supply and demand forecasting of essential medicines.
