The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) on February 13, 2026, issued a notification to exempt the goods or articles where the purchase order for such goods or articles were placed before the date of implementation of the Quality Control Order.
The Ministry after consulting the Bureau, hereby exempts the goods or articles where the purchase order for such goods or articles were placed before the date of implementation of the Quality Control Order, and the Bill of the Landing and the Bill of Entry in respect of such goods or articles are dated on or before one hundred and eighty days from the date on which the said Quality Control Order came into force, specified in column (4) of the Table.
