The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RPCB) on February 16, 2026, issued clarification on Applicability of Revised Consent and Authorization Procedures.
The State Board has adopted the revised industry classification issued by the Central Pollution Control Board (Red, Orange, Green, White, Blue) through its order dated 21.01.2026. It also issued a new delegation of powers on January 30, 2026 for granting, refusing, or revoking consents and authorizations under the applicable water, air, hazardous waste, biomedical waste, and plastic waste regulations.
Applicability:
• Applications received on or after February 01, 2026: processed under the new categorization and delegation.
• Applications received before February 01, 2026: processed under the previous categorization and delegation.
