Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on February 16, 2026, notified regarding the Applicability of Event based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) till March 10, 2026.

Based on the High–Low price variation formula (High–Low)/Low×100(High–Low) / Low × 100(High–Low)/Low×100, an E-Additional Surveillance Measure (E-ASM) of 2.5% has been re-triggered for certain agri-commodity derivatives. Accordingly, E-ASM will be applicable on all running and yet-to-be-launched contracts in Turmeric and Coriander until March 10, 2026.

As per the trigger data, the measure was activated due to price movement observed on February 16, 2026, for both Turmeric and Coriander (under the 10-day movement criteria). No E-ASM has been triggered for Barley, Castor Seed, Guar Seed, or Jeera (including Jeera Mini), while Guar Gum reflects applicability until February 18, 2026.

All other applicable margins will continue to be levied in addition to the 2.5% E-ASM wherever triggered.
