The Meghalaya State Electricity Regulatory Commission (MSERC) on February 05, 2026, issued Extension of State Advisory Committee Tenure by Meghalaya State Electricity Regulatory Commission (2026–2027).
The Meghalaya State Electricity Regulatory Commission has extended the tenure of its State Advisory Committee by one year under the powers granted by the Electricity Act, 2003. The extension continues the committee’s term from February 01, 2026 to January 31, 2027.
This extension applies to the committee originally notified on November 26, 2024 and ensures continuity of its advisory functions for the power sector in Meghalaya.
