Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, on February 06, 2026, issued the Delhi Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (Amendment) Rules, 2025, to further amend the Delhi Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2011.

The following amendment has been stated namely: -

• In Rule 3, in place of sub-rule (2), the following shall be substituted: "(2). Seventy-five percent of the total strength of the School Management Committee shall comprise parents or guardians of children enrolled in the school. In schools where one or more Children with specific disabilities, as defined under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, are enrolled, at least one parent or guardian of such a child shall be included as a member, selected from among such parents or guardians.
