Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX), on February 17, 2026, notified regarding the applicability of Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) for agricultural commodities.

The following has been stated namely: -

• In accordance with the same, based on the High - Low variation, [(High-Low)/Low x 100], E-ASM of 2.5 percent has been re-triggered and will be applicable on all the running contracts and yet to be launched contracts in Turmeric and Coriander till March 11, 2026.

• The table outlines the trigger dates and applicability of E-ASM across selected commodities based on price movement thresholds. For most commodities—Barley, Castor Seed, Guar Gum, Guar Seed, and Jeera (including Jeera Mini)—there are no specified trigger dates for either 5-day (10%) or 10-day (15%) price movements. Coriander has a 5-day movement trigger effective from 17-Feb-26 and is applicable until 11-Mar-26, with no 10-day trigger specified. Turmeric has both 5-day and 10-day movement triggers starting from 17-Feb-26 and is applicable until 11-Mar-26.
