The Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited (MCXCCL) on February 17, 2026, issued the Procedure for deposit and storage of Zinc Ingots for Zinc & Zinc Mini Contracts at MCXCCL Accredited Warehouses.
Members and their constituents, who desire to deposit Zinc & Zinc Mini at the MCXCCL Accredited Warehouses (MAW) for delivery on MCXCCL platform are advised to adhere to the below mentioned procedure / conditions / norms. This revised circular supersedes the circular number MCXCCL/WHL/044/2023 dated February 16, 2023 and includes all additional points as issued by MCXCCL from time to time.
A summary of additions/ modifications are given:
“2. Size and Weight of Zinc bundle
At the time of deposit, WSP shall check all the bundles on warehouse weigh scale and record the actual weight of each bundle. After bundle weighment, the lower weight out of weigh scale (actual) weight and packing list weight shall be considered for creation of warehouse receipt and credit to the depositor. If the Ingot bundle weight variation compared to the packing list/ label is more than +/- 0.1% per bundle, the same shall not be accepted. However, it may be noted that demat credit weight has to adhere to the weight tolerance limit defined in the contract specifications.”
