The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on February 18, 2026, issued a notification to amend notification no. S.O. 1055 (E), dated October 19, 2001, related to the small and commercial quantity under the NDPS Act, 1985.
The following amendments have been stated:
In the said notification, in the Table, after serial number 238 ZZZL and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall, respectively be inserted, namely: -
“238ZZZM N-Pyrrolidino protonitazene (protonitazepyne)
238ZZZN N-pyrrolidino metonitazene (metonitazepyne)
238ZZZO Etonitazepipne (N-piperidinyl etonitazene)
238ZZZP N-Desethylisotonitazene (Norisotonitazene)
238ZZZQ Hexahydrocannabinol (HHC)
238ZZZR Carisoprodol”
This notification shall come into force from February 18, 2026.
