The Government of Nagaland on January 15, 2026, issued Amendment to the "Guidelines for establishment of the Private Universities in the State of Nagaland 2024”

The following has been stated namely: -

• The following Amendment is made under Rule 5 (clause b) namely: -

"To acquire not less than 15 acres of land. The sponsoring body/ university should posses the required area of land by way of Ownership of Lease for a period of 30 (thirty) years."
