The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on February 13, 2026, issued notification regarding the Revamp of the DND and MySpeed Apps.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has revamped its citizen-centric mobile apps, TRAI DND and TRAI MySpeed to help consumers report spam and monitor telecom service quality.
• Multilingual interface, simplified spam complaint filing with tracking ID, “Know Your Sender” feature, improved DND preference management, and dual SIM support.
• The following are the MySpeed App features: Measures download/upload speed, latency, jitter, packet loss, and includes video streaming, web browsing tests, continuous/scheduled testing, and geospatial performance maps.
• User-reported data is anonymized and used by TRAI for regulatory oversight, strengthening spam control, service quality monitoring, and overall network reliability.
