The Government of Himachal Pradesh on February 26, 2026, issued the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2026 to further amend the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2024.
The following amendments have been stated:
In the Schedule appended to the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2024-
(i) in sub-item (b) of item 3, after clause (iii), the following new clause (iv) shall be inserted, namely:- ―
“(iv) above 25 MW. – (iv) same fee as specified against item 3(a) above.”
(ii) in item 17, in column 4, for the figures and signs ―10,000/-‖, the figures and signs ―15,000/- shall be substituted.; and
(iii) in item 20, in column 4, for the figures and signs, ―40,000/-‖, the figures and signs ―50,000/- shall be substituted.
The Draft Regulations are hereby published for the information of all the persons likely to be affected thereby; and notice is hereby given that the said Draft Regulations will be taken into consideration, after the expiry of thirty (30) days from the date of their publication in the Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh, together with any objections/suggestions which may within the aforesaid period be received in respect thereto
