The Government of Goa on March 12, 2026, issued notification on 24-Month Verification Period for Fuel Dispensers in Goa.
The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, issued a notification on December 18, 2025 regarding the verification period for fuel dispensers used for petrol and diesel. Following this notification, the Government of Goa has announced that all fuel dispensers in the state must undergo verification once every twenty-four (24) months.
This rule will apply across the entire state of Goa and will come into force with retrospective effect from January 01, 2026. This means the two-year verification cycle for fuel dispensers will be considered effective from that date.
