The Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX) on March 13, 2026, notified regarding the Mock Trading Session on March 14, 2026.
The following has been stated:
• The exchange has announced that a mock trading session will be conducted on Saturday, 14 March 2026, to test the readiness of trading systems, member infrastructure, and connectivity with the exchange platform. Members are required to log in and participate in the mock session via the exchange's trading terminals and APIs to ensure their systems function correctly in the updated environment.
• The mock trading timings will broadly follow the normal commodity derivatives trading schedule. The login/start-of-day process will begin around 10:00 AM, followed by the mock trading session from around 10:30 AM to about 1:00 PM, during which members can place test orders and verify order execution, market data flow, and connectivity stability. After the trading simulation, the end-of-day/close-out process will begin around 1:00 PM to complete settlement testing and system shutdown procedures.
• Members are instructed to verify their network connectivity, trading applications, market data interfaces, and risk management systems during the session. Participation in the mock session helps ensure that systems will work smoothly when the updated environment or new configurations go live in production trading.
