Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on March 06, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Applicability of Event based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM).

The following has been stated namely: -

• National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) issued a notification referring to earlier surveillance circulars regarding Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) on select commodities.

• Based on price volatility calculated using the formula [(High – Low) / Low × 100], the E-ASM margin of 2.5% has been re-triggered.

• The margin will apply to all running contracts and contracts yet to be launched for Coriander and Turmeric.

• The trigger date for both commodities is March 06, 2026, due to significant price movement within the monitoring period.

• The E-ASM will remain applicable until March 30, 2026, while other commodities such as Barley, Castor Seed, Guar Gum, Guar Seed, and Jeera currently have no E-ASM trigger
