The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on March 13, 2026, issued circular on Review of Volatility Scan Range (VSR) for Option Contracts in Commodity Derivatives Segment.
In continuation of its earlier circular dated February 13, 2026, and with reference to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) circular dated January 11, 2021 on the review of Volatility Scan Range (VSR) for option contracts in the Commodity Derivatives Segment, the NSE Clearing Limited has notified the applicable VSR for April 2026.
The revised VSR will apply to the following commodities and their variants:
• Copper: 5%
• Gold: 5%
• Silver: 6%
• Zinc: 5%
• Crude Oil: 33%
• Natural Gas: 6%
These VSR values will be used for risk management and margin calculations for option contracts in the commodity derivatives segment during April 2026.
