The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on March 16, 2026, issued amendment in import policy of ITC (HS) code 71131144 and 71131145 covered under Chapter 71 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule - I (Import Policy).
The Central Government hereby amends the import policy of ITC (HS) code 71131144 and 71131145 covered under Chapter 71 of ITC (HS) 2022, Schedule - I (Import Policy) for the period up to June 30, 2026 with immediate effect.
The revised policy for the following items are as stated:
• 71131144 --- Other Jewellery: ----Studded with diamonds of heading 7104 - Restricted
• 71131145 --- Other Jewellery: ----Studded with other precious and semiprecious stones – Restricted
The Import Policy of items covered under ITC HS Code 71131144 and 71131145 is revised from "Free" to "Restricted", for the period up to June 30, 2026 with immediate effect.
