The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on March 16, 2026, issued advisory to Teachers Involved in Evaluation - Refrain from Sharing Misleading Information on Social Media.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has cautioned teachers involved in Class X and XII evaluation against sharing comments, opinions, or experiences related to the evaluation process on social media.
The Board noted that such posts are often misleading or factually incorrect and can create confusion and spread rumours among stakeholders. It emphasized that the evaluation process is strictly confidential and governed by established protocols.
Teachers have been directed not to disclose or discuss any evaluation-related information publicly, as doing so violates professional conduct and may lead to disciplinary action. The Board has urged all evaluators to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
Schools have been instructed to immediately communicate these directions to all teachers engaged in the evaluation process.
