The National e-Governance Services Limited (NeSL) on March 16, 2026, notified regarding the Article deactivation in Punjab.
It has informed its DDE platform users (banks and NBFCs) that Article Code – Punjab (Article No. 63) has been temporarily deactivated due to lack of clarity in its usage. This action is effective immediately and will remain in force until further notice. Users are advised to refer to the updated list of permitted States and corresponding digital codes available on the NeSL DDE platform to ensure compliance and avoid operational issues.
