Finance & Taxation Compliance The Central Board of Direct Taxes on March 16, 2026, issued a corrigendum to the earlier notification in relation to the Income-tax _________ (Amendment) Rules, 2026.

The following has been stated:

at page number 9, in item 1, for the bracket, figures and words “(1) These rules may be called the Income-tax (Amendment) Rules, 2026.”, the bracket, figures and words “(1) These rules may be called the Income-tax (First Amendment) Rules, 2026.” shall be substituted;
