The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on March 16, 2026 announced the launch of the Integrated Payment System (IPS) for processing payments to schools, observers, and external examiners for Practical Examinations 2026. The system incorporates revised rates of remuneration, conveyance, refreshments, and related expenses applicable for Board Examinations 2026, aiming to streamline and expedite payment processes.
The IPS Practical 2026 portal has been activated immediately after completion of practical examinations, and schools are required to enter and freeze relevant data to enable timely payment disbursal. Principals are advised to personally verify and finalize the data, especially bank account details, to avoid discrepancies or delays. The initiative reflects CBSE’s effort to digitize and simplify administrative workflows related to examination payments.
As per the schedule, data submission and freezing by schools is to be completed between March 17 and March 31, 2026, with a refreezing window from April 1 to April 15, 2026 in case of failed payments. Payment release will commence from March 23, 2026 onwards, with subsequent releases from April 6, 2026, and the portal will close on April 16, 2026.
