The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on March 17, 2026, notified the date of establishment and withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to Hygienic Conditions for Fruit and Vegetable Canning Units.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Dates of Establishment shall be March 10, 2026 -

• IS 19511: 2026 Ushba (Smilax Aristolociaefolia MILL.) Dried Root for Use in Traditional Medicine — Specification.
• IS 19517 (Part 3) : 2026 ISO 12312-3 : 2022 Eye and Face Protection — Sunglasses and Related Eyewear Part 3 Sunglasses for Running, Cycling and Similar Active Lifestyles.
• IS 19655 (Part 2) : 2026 Handmade Paper — Specification Part 2 Paper Board for File Covers and Folders.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Withdrawal shall be September 10, 2026: -
• IS 6542 – 1972 Code for Hygienic Conditions for Fruit and Vegetable Canning Units.
