Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) on March 17, 2026, notified regarding the rescission of Bye-laws for the Grant of Gas Testing Certificates under Coal Mines Regulations, 2017.

The Government has rescinded the bye-laws issued by the Board of Mining Examinations (G.S.R. 491(E) dated July 22, 2025) concerning the grant of Gas Testing Certificates of Competency, with immediate effect. It is further clarified that in case of any discrepancy between the English and Hindi versions of the notification, the English version shall prevail.
