Industry Specific Compliance The Tourism Department, Govt. of Tripura on March 13, 2026, notified regarding the Hotel Star Classification Requirement under Tripura Tourism Policy, 2025.

The Government has removed the requirement of hotel star classification from essential services and licensing provisions under the Tripura Tourism Policy, 2025, as part of the Compliance Reduction and Deregulation Initiative to improve ease of doing business.

The change takes immediate effect.
