The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on March 18, 2026, issued notification on Assessment scheme for declaration of results of Class X in Middle East Regions.
The Central Board of Secondary Education cancelled the remaining Class X board examinations in Middle East countries due to prevailing conditions, while exams held between February 17 and February 28, 2026 were completed successfully.
To declare results, CBSE has introduced an assessment scheme based on exams already conducted:
• Students who appeared in all exams will be evaluated normally.
• Those who appeared in 4, 3, or 2 exams will have their results calculated using the average of best-performing subjects for the remaining papers.
• Special provisions are made for private/compartment students and those who appeared in limited subjects, including opportunities to appear in future board exams if required.
Results of Middle East students will be declared along with other students, and internal assessment marks (already completed) will be included. Students will also get a chance to improve performance through second board exams as per policy. The results prepared under this scheme will be final, and no special exams will be conducted beyond CBSE’s existing policy.
