The Government of Himachal Pradesh, on March 16, 2026, issued a notification regarding the revision of Door-to-Door Garbage Collection Charges in Rampur Municipal Council.
The following has been stated: -
•The Municipal Council Rampur has revised user charges under Door-to-Door Bye-laws, 2018 (already in force since 1 Oct 2018).
•As per Resolution No. 144 dated December 17, 2025, new monthly garbage fees have been fixed for shops, hotels, and commercial establishments (ranging from ₹300 to ₹1000 depending on type/size).
•Household garbage collection charges have been increased from ₹50 to ₹80 per month.
•The revised charges will be in force from April 2026, and further details can be obtained from the council office.
