The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on March 19, 2026, notified regarding the Mock trading session in the Capital market segment on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
The following has been stated:
• The Exchange has scheduled a mock trading session in the Capital Market segment on March 21, 2026, to be conducted in two phases—first from the Primary Site (morning to afternoon) and then from the Disaster Recovery (DR) Site (afternoon to evening). The session includes multiple trading windows such as pre-open, normal market, block deal windows, auction sessions, and a T+0 segment, all operating within specified time slots with random closures in certain phases to simulate real trading conditions.
• The normal market will run roughly from 11:15 AM to 2:00 PM in Session-1 and 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM in Session-2, followed by a closing session and trade modification window.
• Additionally, members are allowed a live re-login window from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Importantly, no new software version release is planned; members shall use NEAT+ version 7.8.7 and follow prescribed guidelines, including procedures for DR site switchover and participation requirements outlined in annexures.
