The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on March 16, 2026, issued the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) (Third) Amendment Order, 2026, to further amend the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Order, 1985.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In schedule I, Part A “Specifications of Fertiliser” -
(i) In sub-heading 1(h) relating to, Fortified fertilizer, after serial number 39, the following serial number and entries shall be inserted, namely - “40. NPK 14-22-14 with Sulphur Zinc and Boron”
• In Schedule V of the said Order, in Part A, relating to “Specification of Non-edible De-oiled cake Fertilisers”, under serial number 1. “General Specification of Non-edible De-oiled cake Fertilisers”, against item 4, for the entry “
This shall come into force on March 16, 2026.
