The National E-Governance Services Ltd. (NeSL) on March 13, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Article updation for the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Updates have been made to digital e-stamping article codes for the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, based on a prior communication.
• The revised article details were provided by SHCIL (Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd.) and adopted by NeSL accordingly.
• These changes were deployed on the NeSL DDE platform effective from January 29, 2026 at 8:30 PM.
• Banks and NBFC users must ensure they select the correct article code and stamp duty amount for their agreements; NeSL will not be liable for any errors.
• Users can check the updated list of permitted states and digital article codes on the NeSL DDE platform page.
