The Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on March 20, 2026, issued a notification regarding SOP Update on Name-Based Email ID Creation.
The following has been stated:
It has issued an update to its Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) regarding the creation of name-based official email IDs through Eforms. This revision refers to the earlier SOP dated January 05, 2026, and introduces changes for specific categories of users.
The updated SOP applies to:
1. New users who require the creation of an official email ID.
2. Existing users whose name-based email IDs were created after the system migration but are unable to access Eoffice due to the non-creation of their email IDs in the NIC LDAP.
The detailed procedure is provided in the attached SOP, and the update has been implemented with the approval of the competent authority.
