The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH), on March 05, 2026, announced revisions to the Entry Level Ayush Hospitals Certification Programme, including rationalisation of fees and introduction of enhanced benefits, effective from April 1, 2026.
The notification highlights that the certification programme, introduced in 2019, has supported over 300 hospitals in improving quality and patient safety. The revised fee structure has been designed to account for operational costs while ensuring minimal burden on smaller healthcare facilities, with proportionate adjustments for larger hospitals based on size and complexity.
Additionally, NABH emphasized a structured pathway toward advanced quality standards, along with value-added services such as optimized assessment processes, free access to standards, training support, and upcoming AI-enabled assistance, thereby promoting continuous improvement in Ayush healthcare delivery.
