The Department of Public Relations Chandigarh Administration (DoPRCA) on March 06, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Energy Management Cell/SDA Launches Tip Sheet and FAQs on Energy Conservation & Sustainable Building Code.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Tip Sheet and FAQs have been issued on the Energy Conservation & Sustainable Building Code (ECSBC) to raise awareness about energy-efficient and sustainable building practices.
• The documents were jointly prepared with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and were formally launched by Prerna Puri, Secretary Engineering, in the presence of other officials.
• The Tip Sheet provides practical guidance on energy-efficient building design and appliances, while the FAQs clarify ECSBC provisions, helping architects, builders, and citizens comply with norms and promote energy conservation in Chandigarh.
