The following has been stated:

• It has initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of Beta Naphthol from China PR based on an application by a domestic producer alleging injury.

• The investigation covered the period from October 2023 to September 2024, with additional analysis of previous years to assess injury trends to the domestic industry.

• Authorities followed due procedure by notifying stakeholders, collecting data from exporters, importers, and domestic producers, and issuing questionnaires to relevant parties.

• Evidence regarding import volumes, pricing, and market impact was examined to determine the existence of dumping and its effect on the domestic industry.

• The product under consideration (Beta Naphthol) was confirmed to be similar in characteristics between imported and domestically produced goods, making them directly comparable.

• Based on the analysis, the authority evaluated dumping margins and injury margins to decide whether anti-dumping duties are necessary to protect the domestic industry.
