The National Medical Commission (NMC) on March 03, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Implementation of HMIS (Health Management Information System) for attached hospitals.
The following has been stated namely: -
• All medical institutions must implement systems like HMIS, AEBAS, and CCTV integration to enable monitoring of medical education standards by NMC.
• All medical colleges are now required to integrate their hospital HMIS with the ABDM-HMIS portal (by National Health Authority) to ensure transparent and objective assessment/renewal.
• Integration process details are provided in Annexure-I, and technical support is available via designated NHA and NMC officials.
