The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on February 27, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Closure of applications for registration of parental lines of hybrid submitted under Compound Registration System.
The following has been stated namely: -
• All applications for registration of parental lines of hybrids, which were submitted for registration under Compound Registration system stand closed with effect from September 01, 2023.
• In case, DUS test fee has been paid against such application, its refund may be claimed within a month of the publication of this instant Notice in the Plant Variety Journal of India.
• No claim will be entertained after the stipulated time.
